Guest SaraSeahorse Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Cannot afford right now the 300 plus pounds that I am told it will cost to have my P reg galaxy windows tinted! Children are fed up being cooked though and these various different sun shades you get are too small. Have been told to look for static cling / self cling pvc window shades as a compromise (maybe will have to find cash for tinting!) I did try a rear suction window blind but these are about 10 cm too wide for the windows. Any ideas? Quote
Sher Posted August 18, 2003 Report Posted August 18, 2003 Halfords used to sell a grey perforated thickish film which clung to the windows using static- even used it on opening windows and it did not come off for 18 months. I used it to great effect when the AC on my Rover 827 packed up due to an obscure electrical fault. Quote
